Interface and Application Programming
Interface and Application Programming
The Plan:
The plan was to use Processing and PyGame to create applications to interact with the boards I built in previous classes.
The Process:
I downloaded Processing and PyGame and began work in processing. I went through several of the tutorials to try to gain an understanding of what I was doing. It went pretty smoothly and so tried following the AS220 tutorial on getting Processing to interact with my Mic board. Using this tutorial, I was able to get the board to read out on screen, as well as change some of the layout and colors in that program.
I did not have as much success with PyGame. I will continue to work with this program and update accordingly.
The Final Product:
The final product was that using Processing I was able to create a read out for the board. I will continue work in Processing to become more proficient with it. I will also continue getting and understanding of the other possible programs. Look for updates on this page soon.
